A R C H I T E C T U R A L  D E S C R I P T I O N

Sueños is a two-story home on a trapezoidal lot–narrow at the front and wide at the back—which presents a design challenge. Generally, a house is positioned at the front of the lot, in order to create the biggest backyard space. The Sueños home is positioned in the middle of the lot, giving it a huge front yard. For added privacy, we created a separate level for the front yard, to offset it from the street.
The centrally-located, open, two-story great room is the heart of the home, where daily life takes place and family members can enjoy their time together. 
The master bedroom is located on the ground floor, away from the rest of the bedrooms, which enhances the feeling of privacy. It has a huge bathroom and sitting area, as well as a walk-in closet. 
The study, also located on the ground floor, has a walk-in closet and a complete bath adjacent to it, making it flexible and functional as either a study or a fifth bedroom.
